It's time to shine and realise your own dreams! The pointof this RPG is to move up the ranks of celebrity status as you play your character. To do that, you need to participate in Industry projects such as movies, TV-productions, concert tours etc. to earn money. The more projects you are involved with, the more money you make, the bigger house you can buy, the better your parties will be etc. Anything you can do to generate greater popularity will help you climb to the top of the ladder. If climbing the celebrity ladder isn't quite your thing, you could simply work in a cafe, or write for the local paper. However, there are complications. Incidents and accidents beyond your control. Natural disasters, or just plain bad luck. These can occur at the most unexpected of times, and totally shake up your world because as we all know, you can't control everything and sometimes there's nothing more to do but to soldier on. This is all part of the Director's grand plan in an effort to make the game as realistic and as exciting for you, the player, as possible. Come and join Director's Cut! Be whoever you want to be... Actors/actresses Make the move to LA and experience the adventure of a lifetime, where anything and everything is possible. Go to auditions and become a movie star! Anything that can happen, will happen, and it's bound to happen to you without notice. Director/Producer/Writer/Journalist/Tabloid Reporter: Write your own movie, submit the plot to a panel of production companies and see how you fare. If you're lucky, someone may take it on, or they may even fight over who gets the rights to your movie and pay you the big bucks, but don't forget, there's always the chance of being turned down. Meanwhile, you could simply write for the local paper LA Times. Or maybe you want to be a full tabloid reporter? Singers/Musicians Do you play an instrument? Do you sing? Or both? Alone or in a band? You can release albums, go on tour, or contribute the soundtrack to a film. Models Or maybe your talent is your beauty and grace? Do you love the fashion industry? So become a model! Get jobs like print ads, TV commercials or strutt your stuff on the catwalk. Civillians Contrary to popular belief, Los Angeles is not only populated by celebrities. Maybe you just want to play a regular guy or girl who works and lives in the industry and by chance befriends a celebrity? Go ahead!
